Benefits of CPF Certification include credentials and identification with a nationally recognized leader in correctional ministry. Certification with CPF will provide thorough training as well as ongoing support and powerful resources for effective ministry year-round, along with timely resources for self-care, a strong network of support, and free admission to Regional CPF Conferences which feature exciting tracks of training, both basic and advanced, and especially designed for persons working in the correctional environment. Volunteers and chaplains certified with CPF will also receive a bi-weekly downloadable file of the “Break-In” Newsletter which may be personalized for distribution to inmates within correctional facilities in his/her area. Certified volunteers and chaplains will also receive a half-price registration fee to attend the annual CPF National Conference which will offset the entire cost of the $25 annual renewal fee to maintain CPF certification.
